Every year, we look forward to attending multiple trade shows and conferences! These events are a great opportunity to speak with our customers (and future customers) face-to-face, learn more about the challenges they’re encountering and understand how we can best serve the hospitality industry as a whole.
This year was especially exciting because it’s the first time in over two years that every trade show and conference was back in-person! Here are a few highlights from some of the events we attended this year:
Hospitality Upgrade’s Executive Vendor Summit
We kicked off the spring with Hospitality Upgrade’s 17th Annual Executive Vendor Summit in Frisco, TX! We enjoyed gathering with other senior-level technology executives from the hospitality industry and sharing information about what trends we’re seeing.
It’s easy to think of other companies as “competition” but the word that best describes the Executive Vendor Summit is “community.” We’re all working together to better serve the hospitality industry and this event helped us all come together and consider the ways we can do just that.

This was our sixth year participating in the Asian American Hotel Owners Association’s (AAHOA) annual convention and trade show. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long! This year’s show in Baltimore was a great time to reflect on how far Quore has come in those years, growing from a small start-up to an industry-leading solution that’s now utilized by 5,000+ hotels worldwide.
We really enjoyed meeting the next generation of hoteliers at this year’s AAHOACON. Our industry is always in flux and it’s exciting to see that technology is becoming more widely accepted as an industry-standard in hotels. This year, many customers were coming to us with a specific interest in how we can help them with staffing challenges. Quore makes it much easier to onboard new employees and communicate across departments, so it’s easier for new staff members to learn their roles and know what’s expected of them.
Choice Hotels Annual Conference
In May, we headed to Las Vegas (aka Sin City) to attend the Choice Hotels Annual Conference! As a Qualified Vendor for Choice Hotels, we always love attending this event! Preventative maintenance and housekeeping came up a lot and we were able to share the many ways Quore can help with those departments, like with our premium Cleanings Plus app that allows housekeeping teams to create breakout boards that balance their heavy workloads.
This year’s Choice Conference was especially memorable because we got to see Mr. Worldwide himself perform! The Pitbull concert was an exciting way to let loose and have fun after three days on the trade show floor.
IHG Owners Association
You know that saying “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”? We felt like we made that saying a reality this year because two weeks after the Choice Conference, we headed back to Las Vegas for the IHG Owners Association Conference!
IHG is one of the leading hotel companies in the world and nearly 2,000 of their properties choose Quore to optimize their staff operations. Quore is a preferred service optimization solution for IHG properties and we have custom IHG templates built into Quore that help them maintain brand standards. Attending this conference was a great opportunity to continue our ongoing dialogue with IHG about how we can help their hotels optimize staff performance and increase productivity.
Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC)
Technology is increasingly becoming a more integral part of hotel life and HITEC is the perfect event to see how things are changing and growing in the hospitality technology space. Quore has so many different capabilities and it’s always interesting to see which ones our customers use the most and get the most value out of. That knowledge is a huge help as we continue to make improvements!
Another fun part of HITEC is seeing what other solutions are hitting the market and getting the opportunity to say hello to all of our wonderful integration partners, such as Kipsu and Whistle! Working with guest messaging solutions like these allows our customers to get more bang for their buck and better serve their guests.
At the end of the day, we’re all working towards one goal: improving life at hotels. Trade shows and conferences like the ones we attended this year are a great time to come together and work towards that goal as a community.
